The A’s traded away thier hottest player today at the trade deadline.He went to the Twins for Minor League shortstop Tyler Ladendorf. The A’s are bringing up Cliff Pennington to play shortstop because they already know how Bobby Crosby does. Ladendorf was a second round pick by the Twins in the 2008 draft. Cabrera has had 41 hits in July and is batting .381 since the All-Star break.-Above is a card I made and sent to the A’s spring training after he was signed. Cabrera was nice enough to sign it and a 2008 Upper Deck card that I didn’t send. Two for one. Thanks!
