Cash for Clunkers Suspended!

Cash for Clunkers is also known as its short name CARS (Car Allowance Rebate Scheme) program. Cash for Clunkers provide the facility to the owners of old cars (less fuel-efficient or 8-25 years old) to trade them in the market and can purchase new one (more fuel-efficient). The program launched one week earlier on 24th of July, 2009, which provided several benefits to the Americans Consumers and it also assisted in decreasing the use of fuel and vehicle releases because new cars have several safety technologies as compared to the older ones; they are more fuel efficient and cleaner as well.

Now the question is whether this program will be suspended or not? I think it will be suspended because Congress had saved $1 billion for CARS program to rouse auto sales and they had planned to run program until the money finished or until November 1, whichever occurred first. But unfortunately all money has finished in just first week, though the actual trouble is that no one really knows. According to the figures collected on late Wednesday, about 23,000 vehicles have been registered under this system and $96 million money has been used.
Now we just have to wait, what the American Government decides regarding the future of CARS program. Will it suspend permanently or Government will arrange extra money for it.
