Russell Crowe has fought back against rumours that he was banned from a pub in England during the filming of his latest movie.
Locals at the pub say that an argument over closing time resulted in the Robin Hood actor being banned from The Brickmakers in Surrey.
A manager at the pub told the Sunday Express: "I'm not exactly sure what he's supposed to have done but there was apparently trouble and he's been asked not to return. It's not the only place he's been barred from. There are at least two others I know of."
Another customer added: "We understand that he offered money to be allowed to keep drinking after closing time. Well, it's just not the way we do things here. Eventually he left, but not before smashing a plate."
Crowe's spokesperson said that the story was completely untrue, stating: "The only truth to the whole thing is that he has been to the hotel."
