In this era, where filmmakers are stepping into the shoes of actors, lyric writer Pa. Vijay attempted for the same endeavor. His debut film ‘Thai Kavyam’ was shelved due to unknown reasons while his recent release ‘Gnyabagangal’ won him appreciation for the decent performance.Although, the film didn’t witness good response at box office, many filmmakers had approached him with their scripts. After hearing 15 scripts, the
lyricist-turned-actor seems to have finalized couple of them and has already commenced shooting for one of the projects.
He strongly admits that he would prove himself as a commercial hero. The actor is keen on not revealing either film’s title or director’s name. Meanwhile, his ‘Gnyabagangal’ is recommended for the screening at Cannes international film festival.
